If you were to contact Fostering2Inspire with the question “I am black and I want to foster. Can you help?” our answer would be “Yes we certainly can!” We are a fostering agency eager to find caring individuals and families from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities to foster children and young adults. The series of background checks we carry out on are in no way determined by the race of applicants. Our sole aim is to make sure that the right child is paired with the right foster parent. This way the best possible foster care can be provided.
Fostering2Inspire welcomes applications from people of colour who are able to offer a safe and secure home and provide the emotional support for children and young people as they grow into adulthood. A strong commitment to family and community is frequently associated with people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and cultures. These positive characteristics can provide an ideal fostering environment in which children can thrive.
If you feel ready to speak with us about foster care, or are simply looking for more information, Fostering2Inspire would be delighted to hear from you. Then if you do decide to go ahead, Fostering2Inspire will be on hand to support you at every stage of your fostering journey, from the first telephone call to the first day with your new young person and onwards from there.
No matter how big or small your issue may seem, our team of fostering experts will be able to help. All of the help given through our support services and agency events means that both the children and adults involved in our fostering scheme will be able to flourish.
We are a diverse fostering agency, offering all types of people the chance to foster a child. Each person or couple then has the choice of several types of fostering options, allowing them to make a decision which will work best for everyone. Fostering a child will be life changing both for you and the child. You will learn as much about yourself and the important things in life as the child in your care will learn from you.
