North Kesteven, to the east of Nottingham and the south of Lincoln, is one of seven districts in Lincolnshire and is in the centre of the county. Notable places within this area include, Metheringham, Waddington and Cranwell.
Nestled within the heart of Lincolnshire, this district has much to offer for families. This area is home to the coast, castles, stately homes and country walks. With all of this to do, it is the ideal place for the family to get out and about, whether on a day out in the car, or for a sociable bike ride or scenic walk.
The area is probably best well known for housing three operational RAF bases and is very proud of its aviation heritage. There is an airfield trail in places for locals and tourists to explore, and it is a perfect opportunity for plane-spotting enthusiasts to enjoy their hobby.
